Comments: comments: Sunshine '71 Festival This is the first show as the new lineup of Lowell George, Bill Payne, Paul Barrere, Richie Hayward, Kenny Gradney and Sam Clayton In Honolulu in the early 70's music/culture festivals were held inside of Diamond Head Crater. The following is a report from a fan who attended the show:"I had never heard of Little Feat before. They were introduced as ex-members of The Mothers of Invention & Capt. Beef-heart's band. They played right before Santana and Buddy Miles. My memory is that they seemed way out of place in Hawaii with their overcoats, Frye boots and big floppy hats. They looked hot." The Santana/Miles set was released by Santana.

Comments: exact date is unknown It was snowing so hard only people within walking distance could make it.They played on the floor with the audience of 75 people or so. The lecture hall has a stage for the speaker to talk from. But Little Feat played on the floor in front of the stage. The snow storm most likely caused the scheduled show, at the Syria Mosque, to be cancelled.
